Jim Sessoms (Jr), President
Jim joined Gilded Mirrors in 1990. He is a “2nd generation Sessoms”
and assumed the leadership duties from his father James Sessoms Sr,
a co-founder of Gilded Mirrors. For the last 25+ years, Jim has been responsible for all corporate facets of the company.
Jim joined Gilded Mirrors after working within the insurance industry, most recently as the Senior VP - Marketing for Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Louisiana.
Jim earned his bachelor’s degree from Catawba College in North Carolina, where he attended on a basketball scholarship. He previously served on the Local Advisory Board
Jim Sessoms (III), Vice-President
Jim joined Gilded Mirrors in 2014 and is a “3rd generation Sessoms”
at the company. He is responsible for the general management of the company.
Prior to moving to East Tennessee to join Gilded Mirrors, Jim was the CFO at Five Point Partners (utility consulting company acquired by Ernst & Young in 2014). Jim’s other work experience includes management consulting positions at Accenture and Ernst & Young, co-owner of Pathways Consulting (consulting company sold to CMSI), and founder of Sessoms Homes and Development.
Jim earned his bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University and his MBA from the University of Georgia. He also passed the CPA and CIA exams.
Rod Parker, Director of Manufacturing Operations
Rod is a "3rd generation Parker" to work at Gilded Mirrors and has 20+ years experience working under both his father (Ronnie Parker) and grandfather (Warren Parker, co-founder of Gilded). Rod is responsible for Gilded's manufacturing operations, float glass procurement, raw material and inventory management, and timely fulfillment of customers' orders. Rod was previously the Plant Manager and has worked within every area of the plant.
Rod gained his bachelor’s degree from ITT-Tech in Construction Management and worked several years in commercial construction management.
Janie Johnson, Commercial Sales Administrator
Janie is the primary point of contact for our commercial customers, which includes addressing customer questions, producing quote requests, and the administration of LTL/FTL freight. She acts as the primary interface between our customers' orders and our factory's production — ultimately with the goal of creating a great customer experience!
Prior to joining Gilded Mirrors, Janie worked in various office administration positions in a number of different industries. Being a native to the Maryville area, she enjoys community and family activities.
Pat Dotson, Production Manager
Pat has been with Gilded Mirrors since 2002 and has worked in every position within the plant. Pat manages the plant's manufacturing operations which includes responsibility for order production/
scheduling, employee staffing/scheduling, equipment maintenance, plant and equipment supplies, warehouse operations, production by-product disposal, and plant OSHA regulations. Pat enjoys hunting and fishing in his free time.
Sheila Pratt, Office Manager
Sheila re-joined Gilded Mirrors in 2013, after working here from 1997 to 2002. Sheila manages the front office, which encompasses a multitude of items including local sales, incoming calls, accounts receivable, accounts payable, invoicing, and human resources management.
Sheila has previously held positions as a mortgage claim supervisor, insurance adjuster, and an office manager at other companies. She gained her Office Occupations Certification from Athens Vocational School.
